Tracing curves
Trace a curve and review the result.
Automatic and manual tracing
Automatic tracing works best when the curve is distinct from its background. Manual tracing may be more suitable when a curve is faint, interrupted, close to grid lines, or overlaps another curve.
Direction selection
The app supports automatic direction detection and manual direction selection. If automatic detection cannot determine a suitable direction, follow the in-app recovery prompt to set the direction manually or cancel.
Review the preview
Before accepting a trace, inspect peaks, sharp turns, endpoints, crossings, gaps, dashed lines, and grid intersections. Do not assume every detected point is correct. Verify the overall shape against the source image.
