1. Choose an image

Use a clear image that includes the plotting area and readable axis tick labels. Avoid cropping the reference ticks needed for calibration.

2. Import and calibrate

Import the image and set the graph axes using known tick positions and their printed coordinate values. Choose linear or logarithmic scale to match the source graph.

3. Trace a curve

Create a dataset for the curve you want to digitize. Automatic tracing is useful when the line is easy to distinguish; manual tracing can help with faint lines, grid intersections, or overlapping curves. Review the preview before accepting it.

4. Inspect the data

Check peaks, sharp turns, intersections, endpoints, and sudden jumps. Correct points that do not match the source graph.

5. Export

On the Project tab, choose whether to export the current dataset or all datasets to CSV. Check the exported file before using it in another application.
